Will I Know When My Personal Growth Is Complete?

Will I Know When My Personal Growth Is Complete?

People ask me, “Will I know when my personal growth is complete?” This question illuminates the belief that one’s personal growth work is a task with a beginning, middle and end.

The process of becoming who you truly are—self actualization, wholeness, enlightenment, fulfillment—is a lifelong adventure, a.k.a. life’s journey. As long as you are alive there is growth to be made. Or more accurately your growth in-body this time around will end with the last breath, spiritual growth is for eternity.

The soul’s sole purpose for an in-body experience is for emotional and spiritual growth. Your life purpose is becoming more of who you truly are—the authentic YOU. If you allow yourself to be conditioned and indoctrinated to become someone other than your true self, you will feel off balance, out of alignment with yourself and others. Although, you might achieve abundance or have people’s attention, you will feel like a fake and you will enjoy your life less, in spite of all the material abundance. This is a mistaken way to enjoy your life.

To truly enjoy love and abundance, you need to love yourself completely and unconditionally, thus, seeing the abundant and supportive nature of the universe.

Each one of us has unique gifts. These gifts become better as you go through your unique life experiences. Recognizing your gifts and deciding how to express them is one of the most important accomplishments in your life.

Thus, you can say one of your soul’s purposes is to express itself authentically, which brings true and authentic enjoyment.

Another of your soul’s purposes is to help others learn. When the soul incarnates, we are conditioned to create a ‘veil’ between the soul and the universe, which makes it difficult to know oneself. It is a way to add the fun of discovery. Thus, when you incarnate in order to fully express yourself and enjoy this life, there are things to learn. This is often referred to as learning, ‘life lessons,’ Learning these life lessons is part of the soul’s purpose.

As stated previously this learning process goes on for eternity. With Ascension, many souls are completing the in-body ‘life lessons’ on this Earth plain and a plan to continue learn in another dimension will be revealed after the ‘life review.’

We come into an in-body experience in soul groups. These connections are decided prior to the souls incarnating in the agreed upon succession, gender and relationship. Sometimes souls incarnate with no in-body soul work to accomplish, except to help others learn. The soul is non-judgmental and gives only unconditional love. Thus, having a wise, non-judgmental with unconditional love in-body guide is priceless. I am sure if you ponder this phenomenon you might recognize that an aunt, uncle, grandparent, teacher or others fit that description.

People often ask for a session to discover their ‘soul’s purpose. They want to be told something concrete—like—‘Your life purpose is to save starving children.’ They are afraid they will be considered a failure if they do not accomplish it. In order to do it, they need to know what their specific life purpose is, so people want assistance to discover their soul’s purpose. Some people  go to a psychic for readings.

This is a poor way to use a psychic, because, if the psychic (and their spirit guides) is a good one, who respects free will, they see the problem of telling someone a specific life purpose. Psychics are not an order taker, who can define your specific life path. There are many ways you can express yourself and therefore fulfill your life’s purpose. Choosing which way you want to live your life is incumbent upon your free will.

For example, if you are told that your life purpose is to go to Africa to save the starving children, would you be able to do it, given the responsibilities in your life? Well, you better do it, right? Because if you fail to do it, you live feeling bad and fearful of judgment. Do you think the loving God, who gave you free will, would do that?

Therefore, let go of the notion that there is a hidden life purpose statement somewhere in the ether. Also, let go of the myth that God is a mean superintendent tracking your every move against a hidden life purpose plan. And while you are on the subject, let go of your friends in your spiritual circle, who chide you because you are contributing less money, time, etc. for greater causes.

To live your authentic life, open up and enjoy your life. Praise the miracle of your life and create more miracles for yourself. Life’s purpose is simple—emotional and spiritual growth.
