Vision and Action – Bring Your Dreams and Desires To Fruition

Having a vision for what one wants in life – relationships, career and business has become a nomenclature to the majority of people. While having a vision for all aspects of one’s life is valuable; it is important to take action.

Many people have a misconception that one only needs to wish one’s wants and desires in life into being. Maybe on some level of consciousness this is the case, however, on earth what you need to do is take action in every aspect of your life. Vision is an important frontrunner to your efforts. Yet, nothing will be accomplished without clear and decisive action.

When you focus on what you want and ask for what you want, you are initiating a conversation with the universe. Your desires, passionately defined and expressed, bring about valuable and relevant opportunities, which you then respond to by either taking the requisite action or leaving it as is.

Many people are afraid to step out into the world and make things transpire, thus, they hang back, dreaming and waiting and watching. Sometimes people invoke, ‘God’s Will,’ or ‘I will believe it when I see it,’ as their guide to creating their desires. Since God gave us Free Will, I wonder when God takes over.

The phase of inaction needs to give way to its opposite if you intend to build your dreams into reality. This can be scary at times, and you may struggle or fail. However, that is part of the process. The adage ‘Nothing ventured – Nothing gained,’ holds true. Struggling and/or failing are as much a part of creating one’s dreams as having success immediately.

Wanting everything to be perfect before you act, or waiting for what you want to be handed freely, will leave you waiting forever. There is no perfection, so the best thing you can do to create your dreams is to take action. Taking action on step at a time is the formula to creating.

One of the most difficult parts of creating a vision is that when you test it in the laboratory of life, it often comes out looking completely different than what you had in mind. Or worse, it does not come out at all. When you read the life stories of people who have brought their dreams to reality, you will hear many stories that might seem like they were an over night success. While some are, the majority are simply created from hard work, taking action, commitment, determination, perseverance and an unwillingness to quit. Thomas Edison comes to mind. Reportedly, he ‘failed’ over 1,000 times before he invented the light bulb. There is proof his hard work, commitment, determination, perseverance and unwillingness to quit paid off. His invention of the light bulb is still in use.

Hard work, taking action, commitment, determination, perseverance and an unwillingness to quit is the standard formula for creating your vision, dreams and desires. This moment is the first moment for the rest of your life, go for it. What do you have to lose?
